Chromebook Check Out
Students who attend Rock Island Academy and ARE IN NEED of a computer, for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES, are eligible to checkout a Chromebook. A limited inventory is on hand, therefore, we encourage learners to use their own personal computers, laptops, or other suitable devices for the duration of this remote learning period.
If you need a device to help you do school work, Rock Island Academy will be doing a Chromebook check out to families on Friday, April 10 from 9:00 A.M. - 11:00 A.M.
Parents who wish to check out a Chromebook must contact their child's teacher before Friday, April 10 and FILL OUT THIS FORM
PLEASE SEND ONLY ONE MEMBER FROM YOUR HOUSEHOLD TO PICK UP A DEVICE! We need to honor the Governor’s order of not more than 10 people gathering in one place as best as possible. Students do not need to be present. A parent / guardian may pick up a device for their child. However, you will need to have your child's student ID / lunch number with you. We will have that information available if needed when you come to pick up the device. An agreement form will need to be signed upon receipt of each Chromebook. Chromebooks are to be returned in similar condition to the Rock Island Academy once the RIMSD #41 permanently re-opens for the school year.
Please follow the signs into the south driveway of the Rock Island Academy school parking lot off of 12th Street. PLEASE remain in your vehicle. RIA Staff will assist from there.
