Kindergarten and first grade students at Rock Island Academy took part in Fire Safety Day on Friday, October 29th.

 

The Rock Island Fire Department taught students about how to stay safe in case of a fire, what a firefighter looks like in full gear, and what fire equipment firefighters use to fight fires.

 

Students also read about firefighters and how to prevent fires from starting.
